The Queen was welcomed to Save the Children Sweden's head office by Chair Inger Ashing and Secretary General Elisabeth Dahlin.
After an introduction to the work of Save the Children Sweden, Programme Director Agneta Åhlund explained to The Queen about two projects that the charity is working with in Sweden: Violence Against Children and Young Voice. Deputy Secretary General Charlotta Sterky and humanitarian adviser Jesper Hansén then spoke about how Save the Children works internationally, with a particular focus on the current efforts in connection with children in Syria.
