On Thursday 30 August, The King presented the Stockholm Water Prize.
This year's winner, Colin Chartres from the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), received the 2012 Stockholm Water Prize during a ceremony at Stockholm City Hall. A banquet was held after the award ceremony. In his speech, The King spoke about the importance of not wasting the Earth's resources and thinking about the next generation.
