About the New Entrepreneur of the Year awards
The New Entrepreneur of the Year awards were instituted in 1999, and are presented by The King. They represent a way of providing role models and highlighting good examples among people from foreign backgrounds. The awards aim to be a source of inspiration, showing that entrepreneurs from foreign backgrounds can achieve success in Sweden. The awards are presented each year to people from foreign backgrounds who have achieved success with their companies with limited resources, through hard and determined work. The foundation responsible for the awards is the International Entrepreneur Association in Sweden (IFS).
