The King attends a technology symposium in the Bernadotte Library

On Monday 22 October, The King attended a symposium arranged by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) in the Bernadotte Library, on the subject of technology and the future.
The symposium began with The King highlighting the opportunities offered by technology in terms of major global challenges.
 
The young researchers Jens B. Nielsen, Helene Andersson-Svahn, Lina Bertling Tjernberg and Saeid Esmaeilzadeh then spoke about cutting-edge research within their respective research fields of biofuel, nanotechnology, modern electrical systems, and entrepreneurship and technology. The symposium concluded with W. Brian Arthur from the Santa Fe Institute and Bo Ekman from the Tällberg Foundation speaking about the evolution of technology.
