On Tuesday 12 June, The King opened CellMax's new antenna lab in Kista.
CellMax is a Swedish high-tech company that develops more efficient base station antennas for mobile networks. The visit began with a presentation of CellMax's operations, after which The King opened the new lab. In his speech, The King said that developing advanced technology is an old Swedish tradition, and that Swedish companies have been at the forefront of the telecom industry for more than 100 years. The King and Prince Daniel were then given a demonstration of a measuring instrument for base station antennas for mobile networks.
