On Thursday 15 March, Prince Daniel visited Fihem Bygg & Fastighetsservice AB in Fittja.
The visit began with MD Imran Ahmad and Deputy MD Yilmaz Zengin explaining about the company's operations. Fihem Bygg & Fastighetsservice offers a number of services, such as property maintenance, cleaning, repairs, graffiti removal, snow clearing and gardening. The company's vision is to provide opportunities for young people from different ethnic, religious and immigrant backgrounds to enter the Swedish job market. After an introduction at the office, The Prince visited Ungdomens Hus in Fittja. Ungdomens Hus — a former refuse collection building — has been converted, together with young people from Fittja, to create a youth centre which includes a café, a computer room, a gym, a cinema room and a music studio. The visit concluded with a tour of an area that will become a gym for women at Fittja Centre. The gym is expected to open in around a month.
