On Saturday 2 June, Prince Daniel played the first shot on Drottningholm Golf Club's new course.
The course, which is located next to Drottningholm Palace, was originally opened on 26 September 1959 by King Gustaf VI Adolf. The restoration of the course has now been completed, and much of the course's original character has been preserved while also incorporated a number of the original ideas. You can watch a clip of King Gustav VI Adolf taking the opening shot in 1959 here.
