On Thursday 11 October, Prince Daniel attended a positive supporter culture seminar at the National Sports Museum of Sweden in Stockholm.
The Prince was welcomed by Minister for Culture and Sport Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth, Chair of the Swedish Sports Confederation Karin Mattson Weijber, national coordinator Björn Eriksson, administrator/coordinator Stefan Dellså and Director of the National Sports Museum of Sweden Lillemor Lindell.

Topics discussed at the seminar include supporter cultures in different countries and the importance of the proposed legislation included in the interim report "Less Violence for the Money" being implemented.

The seminar was arranged by the Swedish Sports Confederation and the Ministry of Culture.

In March 2011, the Minister for Sport appointed the then County Governor of Stockholm Per Unckel as national coordinator for tackling issues relating to hooliganism. When Unckel died, he was succeeded by former County Governor and National Police Commissioner Björn Eriksson.
