On Monday 16 January, Prince Carl Philip presented Radiosporten's Jerring Prize at the Swedish Sports Gala at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm.
The Jerring Prize was presented to show jumper Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, who won a gold medal at the European Show Jumping Championship in Madrid in September.
About the Jerring Prize
The Jerring Prize is the only sports prize to be judged by the Swedish people, and is presented to the individual or team that has achieved the year's best performance in Swedish sport. The prize was established in 1979 by Radiosporten to commemorate the legendary radio journalist Sven Jerring, who died that year.
