On Friday 7 October, The Queen opened an exhibition at Kulturhuset in Stockholm by Brazilian artist Miguel Rio Branco.
The Queen was first shown around the exhibition by the artist, after which the official opening was marked with a speech and ribbon-cutting. Miguel Rio Branco was born in Spain, and is the son of a Brazilian diplomat. Since the 1970s he has lived and worked in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 1980 he became correspondent for the Magnum photography agency, and soon made his international breakthrough. This is the first time his works have been shown in Scandinavia.
