On Sunday 22 May, The Queen attended Childhood Day at Gröna Lund theme park.
For the eighth year in a row, the World Childhood Foundation organised a full day in association with Gröna Lund, with all entrance ticket proceeds going to the World Childhood Foundation. Artists Darin, Veronica Maggio, Tove Styrke, Christian Walz and Ulrik Munther all gave performances.
Afterwards, The Queen thanked Gröna Lund, the performers and everyone else who had made the day possible. She continued by saying: "Childhood wants children to have the chance to be children. At Gröna Lund, both children and adults can have fun. Today, we have had fun while helping those children who really need our help. What could be better?"
