The Queen and The Crown Princess at the formal gathering of the Friends of Drottningholm Theatre

On Thursday 16 June, The Queen and The Crown Princess attended the Friends of Drottningholm Theatre's formal gathering and presentation of scholarships.
The Queen awarded the society's honours to the theatre's retiring director Per Forsström and to director and sponsor Hans Wallenstam.

The Crown Princess presented scholarships to nine recipients.

The Friends of Drottningholm Theatre is a non-profit association founded in 1935. This is one of Sweden's oldest such societies, and has 2,100 members.

Each year, the society presents educational scholarships to young singers, dancers and musicians who have performed at the Palace Theatre.
