The King holds an audience with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin

On Wednesday 27 April, The King held an audience with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
Prime Minister Putin is visiting Sweden, and after his audience with The King he will visit Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. The meeting will include discussions on bilateral relations between Sweden and Russia, the consequences of the economic crisis, regional issues and EU cooperation with Russia.

The King has met Prime Minister Putin before, during the State Visit to Russia in 2001 and when The King travelled to Russia with the Royal Technology Mission in 2007.
