The programme for the day in Nykvarn was as follows:
The King and Queen arrive at Turinge Church
Chairman of the Municipal Council Effe Östman gave a welcoming address and a children's choir sang songs. Vicar Ami Dahlblom then accompanied The King and Queen into Turinge Church. Prayers were said in the church. The King and Queen learnt about the history of the church, and were presented with a gift by Chairman of the Church Council Jan Lindius.
The King and Queen arrive at Lillhaga School
Linnea Axelsson, chair of the pupils' council, welcomed The King and Queen and showed them the pupils' "Dreams for the Future" display. The King and Queen also had the opportunity to meet some of the pupils. They visited the art classroom and received a copy of the school newsletter.
The King and Queen arrive at Hedlandet Station
The King and Queen boarded a steam train and departed for Taxinge Näsby Station.
Arrive at Taxinge Näsby Station
Speeches were given on arrival, after which The King declared the railway open by switching a mechanical stop signal to "go".

Visit to Alcro-Beckers
Alcro-Beckers is a merger between two Stockholm companies: Alcro, founded in 1906, and Beckers, founded in 1865. Since 2008, all production has been carried out at Nykvarn. The King and Queen listened to a presentation about the company, and were given a tour of the factory with a focus on environmental aspects.
