The discussion was held at Munich Residenz
, which was once a city palace for the Bavarian electoral princes and kings. Munich Residenz is Germany's largest town-centre palace.
The Crown Princess Couple then made their way to Buntkicktgut
, a street football youth and integration project. The project was initially aimed at immigrant children who otherwise had no natural point of connection with German society. The football groups are mixed and all children are welcome, but most of the members are from an immigrant background. In 2007, Buntkicktgut won the German Football Association's Integration Award.
At Buntkicktgut, young people demonstrated their ball handling and breakdancing skills. The Crown Princess Couple watched a football match and spoke with the young people.
In the afternoon, The Crown Princess Couple visited Bavaria's Minister-President Horst Seehofer and his wife, Karin. Bavaria's State Minister of European and Federal Affairs Emilia Müller also attended the meeting.
There then followed a meeting with Munich's Deputy Mayor Christine Strobl at Munich City Hall on Marienplatz.
In the evening, a dinner was hosted by Bavaria's State Minister of Economic Affairs and Deputy Minister-President Martin Zeil. The dinner was held at Gasthof Aying, a traditional Bavarian inn.
