On Sunday 10 April, The Crown Princess attended the Viking 11 exercise at the Swedish Armed Forces Command in Enköping.
She visited the training command, the training group for the Red Cross and Save the Children, and the ground forces staff. The aim of the Viking 11 exercise is to practise cooperation between civilians, the military and the police in peace-keeping operations. The participants are spread out geographically to different locations, and are linked via the internet. The exercise is based on a peace-keeping operation/emergency response operation.
