On Tuesday 22 November, The Crown Princess listened to this year's Anders Wall lecture on entrepreneurship, which was given at Uppsala University.
This was the eighth Anders Wall lecture, and the main speaker was Percy Barnevik, whose latest book is entitled "Jag vill förändra världen" ("I Want to Change the World"). Barnevik spoke about the Hand in Hand organisation, which works to combat poverty by helping people to help themselves. The other speakers were Gustav Söderström from Spotify, Business Angel of the Year Jane Walerud, and Ashkan Pouya and Saeid Esmaeilzadeh who run the company Serendipity Innovations. Fredrik Lindström was the moderator. The Crown Princess also presented the Anders Walls Scholarship to this year's Uppsala Student of the Year, Johan Bengtsson, who is studying medicine. Musical entertainment was provided by two of this year's Anders Wall Culture Scholarship recipients, soprano Frida Jansson and pianist John Zhang.
