Tullgarn, near Trosa in Sörmland, is a popular destination with its beautiful countryside and its coastal location. There is a café and a restaurant in the palace grounds. The Palace is open from June to August, with guided tours of the rooms. There will also be a photographic exhibition at the Palace during the summer.
Guided tours of the Palace's rooms
Tullgarn is closely associated with King Gustaf V and Queen Victoria, who spent their summers here at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century. However, the Palace has been a royal summer palace since the 1770s. The Palace opens on 1 June, with guided tours of the rooms and interiors, which are among the finest in Sweden. Photographic exhibition about the Dutch Apartments
The National Property Board and the Royal Collections are currently working together to recreate the Dutch Apartments. This summer, a photographic exhibition about these rooms, their history and the work to restore them to their former glory will be on show. The exhibition opens on 1 June, and is included in the guided tour of the Palace. In the future, the Dutch Apartments will be among the rooms shown to visitors to Tullgarn Palace.
