On Tuesday 18 January, Estonia's President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Mrs Evelin Ilves arrived for a three-day State Visit to Sweden. Prince Carl Philip met the Presidential couple at Värtahamnen when they arrived onboard the M/S Victoria.
The King and the President then travelled to the Royal Palace of Stockholm in the Sjuglas State Carriage, while The Queen and Mrs Ilves made the journey in the Karl XV Parade Coupé from the Royal Mews. At the official welcoming ceremony, The King and President Ilves inspected the Guard of Honour. The King and Queen then hosted lunch in Princess Sibylla's apartments.
