Queen presents scholarships from Frimurare Barnhuset Foundation

On Tuesday 6 September, The Queen presented scholarships from the Frimurare Barnhuset Foundation in Stockholm.
The presentation of scholarships took place at Bååtska palatset in Stockholm. Thirty-two scholarships and grants were presented for paediatric research. The Queen is the foundation's High Patron and has been taking part in the annual presentation of scholarships since 1995. Following the presentation of scholarships, two of the recipients spoke about their research.
Purpose of the foundation
The purpose of the foundation is to support the care and upbringing of children and young people to encourage them to become good citizens. In addition, support may be given to such scientific, chiefly medical, psychological or educational research that may be significant to the main objectives of the foundation.
