On Thursday 3 November, Princess Madeleine visited the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem, New York.
The Princess visited the Susan Patricof Center, a daycare centre and preschool operated by the Northside Center for Child Development.

Northside runs a number of different projects, and Childhood supports the Creative Arts Therapy Program project, which is aimed at children who have been sexually abused.

During Thursday's visit, The Princess did not meet any of the children from the Creative Arts Therapy Program, but she did meet children from the school's daycare centre. These children are in the risk zone, so it is particularly important that they receive support and care.
