Prince Daniel visits the USA, day 4
On Thursday 27 October, Prince Daniel continued his visit to the USA.
During the day, Prince Daniel visited Congress
in Washington DC. Here, he was given a guided tour and he spoke with Steny Hoyer, the second-ranking figure in the House Democratic leadership hierarchy, about the work of Congress.
There then followed a visit to the head office of the World Bank, where The Prince was given a tour. During lunch, Swedes working at the World Bank had the opportunity to share their experiences.
In the afternoon, The Prince visited Old New Sweden in Wilmington. Here, he met representatives from Swedish-American organisations and descendants of the Swedes who arrived in Delaware in 1638 on the Kalmar Nyckel.
