On Monday 24 October, Prince Daniel began a visit to the USA.
The day began with a visit to the Swedish Embassy in Washington, including a tour of the House of Swedenexternal link, opens in new window and a meeting with embassy employees. He then visited the Arlington National Cemeteryexternal link, opens in new window and the Martin Luther King Memorialexternal link, opens in new window.

During the day, The Price met Larry Soler, President and CEO of A Partnership for a Healthier Americaexternal link, opens in new window, to discuss health issues and childhood obesity.

The Price also met Heather Conley, Director of the Europe Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)external link, opens in new window. The CSIS is a non-political think tank tasked with providing suggestions for decision-makers in governments, international institutions and industry.
 
Prince Daniel also visited the Newseumexternal link, opens in new window, a new interactive news history museum.
