Prince Carl Philip visits London
On 20-21 September, Prince Carl Philip visited the Swedish Trade Council and the "Hemma: Swedish Design goes London" exhibition.
His visit began on Tuesday 20 September when The Prince listened to a library talk on the theme "The Big Game and Swedish Architecture: An Outdated Model?" at the Swedish Embassy.
Here, he also had the opportunity to see the "Hemma: Swedish Design Goes London
" exhibition and to speak with the exhibitors.
On Wednesday 21 September, The Prince began by visiting Skandium, a company that focuses on Scandinavian design. He then learnt about the Swedish Trade Council's international work and its operations in the UK, from the Swedish Trade Council's CEO Ulf Berg and the council's Country Manager in London, Fredrik Häggström.
The afternoon began with The Prince listening to a library talk on the theme "Trends within young Swedish and British design" at the Swedish Embassy.
The day concluded with The Price visiting Designersblock, where he opened the ung8 exhibition. In his speech, The Prince mentioned his visit to the "Hemma: Swedish Design Goes London" exhibition, where he had the opportunity to see new Swedish and classic design in two different settings.
