Diplomatic reception at Royal Palace

On Tuesday 13 December, a diplomatic reception was held at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
A few times a year, all newly appointed ambassadors and their spouses are given the opportunity to meet The King and Queen at a reception at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

The first time the new ambassadors get to meet The King is when they present their letters of credence during formal audiences. At the diplomatic reception they also have the chance to meet The Queen, each other and representatives from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

On this occasion, ambassadors from Finland, South Africa, United Kingdom, Germany, Georgia, Nigeria and Colombia came with their spouses to the reception in Princess Sibylla's Apartments at the Royal Palace.
