Celebrate The Crown Princess's name day at the Royal Palace

On Saturday 12 March, The Crown Princess's name day is celebrated in the traditional manner.
The gates to the South Gate and the Inner Courtyard are opened at 11:30. Visitors have the opportunity to cheer for The Crown Princess and watch the Swedish Armed Forces' tribute.
Programme for celebrations to mark The Crown Princess's name day
11:30 Visitors are admitted to the Inner Courtyard, via the South Gate (entrance from Slottsbacken). 11:45 Entrance of the Music Corps together with the Mounted Guard and honorary troop from the Lifeguards into the Inner Courtyard. 12:00-12:20 The Crown Princess receives congratulations in the Inner Courtyard. The Life Guards' Dragoon Music Corps plays. After the celebrations, the Music Corps and the guards march out through the West Gate. The changing of the guard then takes place in the Outer Courtyard.
