Riksdag supper at the Royal Palace of Stockholm

On Wednesday 24 November, The King and Queen hosted a supper for the members of the Riksdag at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
The King and Queen, The Crown Princess Couple and Princess Madeleine began the evening by welcoming all the members. The 400 or so guests then gathered in the Hall of State for a concert.
 
The supper was held in the Banqueting Rooms and the Bernadotte Apartments at the Palace.
 
The menu consisted of duck's liver terrine with braised chicory, white Alba truffle and fig chutney with balsamic vinegar, whole roasted fillet of reindeer calf with blueberry gravy, smoked ox marrow, potato fondant and celeriac purée with preserved spruce shoots, and pistachio Bavarian cream with dewberry crème, pistachio ice cream and meringues.
 
The King escorted the Minister for Children and the Elderly Maria Larsson to the table, and First Deputy Speaker Susanne Eberstein was seated on his other side. The Queen was escorted to the table by Speaker Per Westerberg. Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt was seated on her other side.
 
The Crown Princess was escorted to the table by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education Jan Björklund. MP Håkan Juholt sat to her right. Prince Daniel escorted Minister for Communications Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd to the table, and Minister for Information Technology and Regional Affairs Anna-Karin Hatt was seated on his other side.
 
Princess Madeleine was escorted to the table by Minister for Agriculture Eskil Erlandsson. Minister for the Environment Andreas Carlgren was seated on her other side.
