Queen visits Pattaya in Thailand

On Thursday 8 April, The Queen opened the newly built section of the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind in Pattaya, Thailand. The school provides teaching for blind children aged 6-14 years.
The Queen and Princess Chulabhorn visited a hospital together, which was founded by the Princess.
The Queen will also be attending a lunch at the Swedish Residence, joined by representatives from the Foreign Anti Narcotics and Crime Community (FANC) and the Thai Ministry of Justice. The lunch will be an opportunity for the organisation to give an update on the work being done to tackle the sexual exploitation of children in Thailand and its neighbouring countries.
