Bengt Karlsson, bioenergy developer at Sveaskog, received Count Carl Bernadotte's Forest Prize, which is awarded for "outstanding services to Swedish forestry".
CountyGovernor Maria Norrfalk, artist Henrik Teleman and Deputy Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture Hans Nilsagård were awarded Guldkvistar. Guldkvistar are awarded "to people who have made valuable contributions to forestry at national level".
Anna Svedberg was awarded Gunnar Sundblad's Skills Development Prize for her research into the link between retention and formation in the manufacture of paper.
Finn Rausing, Tetra Pak, received the Swedish Forest Industries Federation's Climate Prize. Tetra Pak has reduced its climate impact by almost 10 percent in absolute terms over the past five years.
