About the Jerring Prize

The Jerring Prize is the only sports prize that is judged by the Swedish people and it is presented to the individual or team that has achieved the best performance in Swedish sport. The prize was established in 1979 by Radiosporten to commemorate the legendary radio journalist Sven Jerring, who died that year.
