King visits Amphibious Regiment
On Friday 7 May, The King observed the Amphibious Regiment's exercise in the southern part of the Stockholm Archipelago.
The day began with a brief run-through of the regiment's duties, capacity and the scenario for the exercise.
Out in the exercise area on board one of the lead boats The King had the opportunity to meet the crew involved in the exercise, who informed him on the current situation.
The King also visited all the companies of the regiment, where he followed activities with great interest and spoke with the officers and soldiers.
Following a camp lunch provided by the service company's cooks, the visit ended with the coastal commando company.
