The King visited Oman on Saturday 16 January to take part in a jamboree, a major international scout camp. The jamboree is taking place outside Muskat, Oman's capital.
Some 500 scouts from Oman, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt and the UK have come together at the camp.

The theme for this jamboree is the environment, an issue that is particularly close to The King's heart. The King is keen to help spread the ideas and activities of the scout movement in His capacity as Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation.
