Crown Princess Couple's cortège through Stockholm

Following the wedding, The Crown Princess Couple travelled in a cortègeexternal link for 6.8 km through the streets of Stockholm.
The couple travelled in the same parade baroucheexternal link that The King and Queen used when they married in 1976. The route was lined with troopsexternal link, military bands and crowds of waving onlookers.

The cortège stopped at the Vasa Museum on Djurgården, where The Crown Princess Couple were taken by the Royal Barge Vasaorden to Logården. Several shipsexternal link lined the route of the Vasaorden.
 
At the end of the cortège on the Royal Barge, 18 JAS Gripen fighter planes performed a flyover from the north. The planes paid tribute to The Crown Princes Couple with a flyover at an altitude of 400 metres and speed of 400 km/h .
