Prince Carl Philip awards Stockholm Water Prize

On 20 August, Prince Carl Philip awarded the Stockholm Water Prize to Dr Bindeshwar Pathak, founder of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation and Sulabh Sanitation Movement in India.
Dr Pathak is known for his extensive work within the field of sanitation in order to improve public health and people's rights in society, chiefly in India, but also in other countries.Dr Pathak's work has included the development of sanitary toilet solutions for slum areas, villages and densely populated metropolitan areas.
