On the evening of 21 April, Queen Beatrix held a state banquet in honour of The King and Queen at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague. The banquet took place in the Grand Ballroom, and began with a speech by Queen Beatrix, followed by Sweden's national anthem. The King then made a speech, which was followed by the Dutch national anthem.
