On Thursday evening, The King and Queen held this year's second official dinner for representatives from the diplomatic corps, the Swedish parliament, the government, counties and authorities, as well as representatives from the Swedish business community, science, culture and sport.
The 160 guests were received in the customary manner and welcomed by The King, The Queen, The Crown Princess and Mr Daniel Westling in the “Vita Havet" assembly rooms, after which the dinner took place in Karl XI's Gallery.

Menu Menu comprised terrine of organic goose liver from free-range geese, followed by Walewska Sole – "a classic with a modern twist" – and roast breast of Bresse pigeon with celery purée, glazed carrots and savoury gravy. Desert was a white chocolate cheesecake with apricots on malt crumbs.
Seating The King accompanied county council commissioner for healthcare Filippa Reinfeldt to the table. On his left side was Mrs Anna Maria Corazza Bildt. The Queen was accompanied to the table by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, and Minister Carl Bildt was seated on her right. The Crown Princess was accompanied to the table by Mr Daniel Westling, and Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt was seated on her right. Minister Gunilla Carlsson was seated on Mr Daniel Westling's left.
