On Wednesday 18 March, The King launched the Royal Palace Sprint, which took place for the sixth time.

The competition, which is a skiing race around the Royal Palace in Stockholm, was won by Joel Kjoelstad from Norway and Petra Majdic from Slovenia. The King handed out the prizes to the winners.
