On Thursday 2 July, the King gave an audience for the Brussels-based correspondents visiting Stockholm in connection with Sweden's presidency of the EU.
In his speech to the correspondents, the King emphasised the fact that climate change was one of the most important issues to address during the Swedish presidency. The financial crisis and integration are also high on the agenda.
