King and Queen open Emigrant Register in Karlstad

On Wednesday 1 April it was time for The King and Queen to pay a visit to Karlstad. They were welcomed by County Governor Eva Eriksson, who was present when The King and Queen opened the Emigrant Register at her official residence.

In the afternoon, The King and Queen were greeted at Karlstad University by Rector Kerstin Norén. At the university, The King and Queen began their visit by attending a chemistry lesson at the Children's University. Afterwards they were shown an EU project tackling child pornography.
