On Monday 26 October, The Crown Princess presented the Bertil Hult Prize to Bokenäs School in Uddevalla. The prize was awarded at Skolforum, the Nordic region's largest education fair, which takes place 26-28 October at Stockholm International Fairs.
The jury's explanation reads: "Bokenäs School is awarded the 2009 Bertil Hult Prize for its structured and purposeful approach to preventing reading and writing difficulties, as well as the continual and systematic follow-up of pupils' reading and writing development".

The Bertil Hult Prize is awarded to a Swedish compulsory school that works in an exemplary way to help pupils with dyslexia. This is the seventh year in a row that the prize of SEK 500,000 has been awarded.
