Crown Princess opens Carl Malmsten Centre for Wood Technology

On Friday 18 September, The Crown Princess opened the Carl Malmsten Centre for Wood Technology and Design in Larsberg on Lidingö.
The Carl Malmsten Centre for Wood Technology and Design offers degree courses in furniture design, which was previously located on Södermalm in Stockholm.

There are four courses offered, including furniture design, furniture-making, furniture upholstery and furniture restoration.The newly-built premises in Larsberg have been customised for the purpose, and in addition to work areas the building also houses an exhibition area and academic library.
