Crown Princess opens breeding centre

On Wednesday 6 May, The Crown Princess visited Nordens Ark. During the morning, The Crown Princess took part in the seminar, “Back to Nature - a Nordens Ark Conservation Initiative." At the seminar there were discussions about how to spread knowledge of the importance of biological diversity.
In the afternoon, The Crown Princess opened the new breeding centre for the lesser white-fronted goose together with Dame Jane Goodall. In her speech, The Crown Princess emphasised the importance of biological diversity, since “we are all dependent on biological diversity for our own and the planet's survival."
