Concerts at Riddarholm Church this weekend

Every summer, the Riddarholm Church hosts concerts featuring some of the country's top musicians within classical and Gregorian music.   

The concerts take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 13 June to 9 August, and are included in the entry fee to the church, which is only SEK 30.

On Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August, a concert is being given entitled, “Kristina - the Queen of Culture", at 1.00 p.m. at the Riddarholm Church.

The concert is being performed by:
Susanne Rydén, soprano
Mark Tatlow, harpsichord

The Riddarholm Church is the final resting place of the Swedish kings, and is Stockholm's only preserved medieval abbey.

All the Swedish monarchs, apart from Queen Kristina, were laid to rest here, from Gustav II Adolf (d. 1632) to Gustav V (d. 1950).
