Bromma High School outside Stockholm has undergone a complete renovation, and on February 5th Queen Silvia re-inaugurated the school. The Queen cut the ribbon in the presence of about 600 guests. The occasion was celebrated with music performed by students, old and new, some of whom are well-known performers today. After the ceremony, the Queen had an opportunity to converse with a group of teachers and students.
Bromma High School also celebrates a belated 70th anniversary in connection with this event. In 1937, the late King Gustaf V, the present King´s great-grandfather, inaugurated the school.
