Queen presents diploma to best Mayflower sellers

On 3 September, The Queen presented a diploma to the National Winner of the Mayflower Fundraising Competition — Karolina Scout Group from Södertälje, whose 27 junior scouts succeeded in selling SEK 181,540 worth of Mayflowers.

"Blossoming Company of the Year"

One new aspect to this year´s competition was the award, "Blossoming Company of the Year". The award was presented to Nordstan in Göteborg, which “has been involved in Mayflower´s fundraising work for a number of years".

Researcher of the year

Three researchers who have received grants for their social science and medical research also presented their projects: Lars Jacobsson, Umeå University — The health and living conditions of Sami children and young people .
Annelie Törnblom, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm  - Why do young people take their own lives?
Kristoffer Hansson, Lund University — The significance of location for children and young people who use wheelchairs
