King visits United Arab Emirates

The King is visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 23-26 October. In his role as Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation (WSF), The King will be meeting UAE leaders and promoting international scouting, as well as UAE's scout association.

During his visit to the UAE, The King will be attending a scout camp in Sharjah, UAE's third largest emirate. Here The King will meet over 600 Emirati scouts.

The King was welcomed at the airport by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Emirati scouts and the Swedish Ambassador, Bruno S Beijer.
