The Queen and Crown Princess Honour Bergman

On September 3 Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria attended a special tribute honouring the late director Ingmar Bergman at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm.

Amongst those participating in the event were Börje Ahlstedt, Bibi Andersson, Pernilla August, Stina Ekblad, Ewa Fröling and Jonas Malmsjö. Selected texts by the famed director were performed for the audience.  

The evening ended with court singer Peter Mattei performing "Song to the evening star" from Richard Wagner´s opera “Tannhäuser."
