The Royal Family attended this year´s Nobel banquet at Stockholm´s City Hall together with some 1,300 other guests. King Carl XVI Gustaf´s dinner partner was Maria José Fert, wife of this year´s Nobel laureate in physics Albert Fert.

Queen Silvia´s dinner partner was Chairman for the Nobel Foundation Marcus Storch, who was also the evening´s host.

Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine and Princess Christina Mrs Magnuson also attended the banquet at City Hall.
