The King Unveils Memorial in Malmö

A memorial for "The White Buses" was unveiled by H.M. The King on Saturday, September 29th, in Malmö.

The memorial was created by Solveyg Schafferer and is called "Den trånga porten mot friheten" (The narrow gate to freedom). Several Norwegian survivors from World War II were also in attendance.

The monument was unveiled by Norway´s President of the Storting (Parliament) Thorbjørn Jagland, who later handed over to The King.
