The King Opens Climate Conference in Washington

On Friday November 10th, The King opened a conference in Washington D.C. where 46 leading companies from around the world requested that governments cooperate in developing a global frame work to help combat climate change.

Heads of the different companies - based in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa - presented a joint statement in Washington D.C. urging governments around the world to take a series of actions against climate change.

The companies, with representatives from industry, energy, finance, insurance, transport, and media, are working together in the global initiative known as 3C(Combat Climate Change).
